In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind CASAC's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, CASAC's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Epifanio Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play forced CASAC's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute of the match. CASAC's Epifanio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 25th minute of play. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Meesters struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Epifanio Beila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 30th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Romeo Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CASAC's Epifanio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 36th minute of play. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Beila. Epifanio Beila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after CASAC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CASAC's Epifanio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when CASAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes in the game, Wim Wilmes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Epifanio Beila having to interfere. CASAC's Epifanio Beila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CASAC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Epifanio Beila in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Epifanio Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play forced CASAC's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Beila was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CASAC's Dario Sandalio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kees Mooiweer, made in the 76th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but David Eikelkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Beila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Beila made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. CASAC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 88 minutes in the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Epifanio Beila having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Beila saved CASAC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, CASAC's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Epifanio Beila firmly grabbed it by the left post.
