The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Othman Al Shaikh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shoeburyness City's Darweesh Dehrab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matey Dachevski in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Othman Al Shaikh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Darweesh Dehrab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Shoeburyness City getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Khalefa Shabakhoh hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Matey Dachevski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Al-Ahli's Matey Dachevski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darweesh Dehrab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Shoeburyness City getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Khalefa Shabakhoh hit a great ball. Darweesh Dehrab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matey Dachevski's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute Matey Dachevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darweesh Dehrab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mamdouh Hayat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Al-Ahli's Matey Dachevski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darweesh Dehrab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Al-Ahli's goal looked a bit too open when Fayez Al Mehana came free, but Clud Almagro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Matey Dachevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Ahli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matey Dachevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matey Dachevski in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darweesh Dehrab saved Shoeburyness City from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matey Dachevski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darweesh Dehrab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute of the match Qasem Shalan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darweesh Dehrab showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Matey Dachevski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Matey Dachevski made the kick off in the second half. Darweesh Dehrab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matey Dachevski in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Åke Myr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Al Adsani in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clud Almagro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Shoeburyness City's zone, 최 마 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darweesh Dehrab came out of the goal and 최 마 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darweesh Dehrab was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Matey Dachevski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matey Dachevski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Fayez Al Mehana charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fayez Al Mehana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Shoeburyness City got a freekick which was hit by Fayez Al Mehana. 67 minutes into the match, Shoeburyness City's goal looked a bit too open when Matey Dachevski came free, but Darweesh Dehrab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Matey Dachevski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darweesh Dehrab was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Matey Dachevski could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-5 into the left cross. 79 minutes into the match, Shoeburyness City's goal looked a bit too open when Matey Dachevski came free, but Darweesh Dehrab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al-Ahli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 최 마 in the 83rd minute. Matey Dachevski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darweesh Dehrab. Darweesh Dehrab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Matey Dachevskis short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Darweesh Dehrab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Darweesh Dehrab came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Ahli's Mamdouh Hayat. But to his dismay, Mamdouh Hayat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Al-Ahli's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
