Mosalam Al Srae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hussain Al Khars in the 21st minute of play forced SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³'s goalkeeper Cihan Birsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Linqvist got free with Mosalam Al Srae in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mosalam Al Srae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mosalam Al Srae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raed Al Holey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ghanim Shams during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erik Linqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute.

The wind increased when Olimpiu Merișor made the kick off in the second half. When the referee ended the match the SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
