Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rashed Al Sarraf started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Rashed Al Sarraf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DES HUN FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ad Academy the free kick. Rashed Al Sarraf hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Doaej Al Gareb reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Espinoza. The goal made the score 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Doaej Al Gareb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Espinoza. Ad Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doaej Al Gareb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 18 played minutes DES HUN FC got a freekick which was hit by Gibrel Taiban. A collision led to Ad Academy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Farhan Al Fadhalah hit a great ball. The long shot by Saif Al Sohali in the 34th minute really tested Jacinto Espinoza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jacinto Espinoza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rashed Al Sarraf in the 37th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Ivo Amaro put in a rough tackle. After 40 played minutes Ad Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Amaro. 42 minutes in the game Abdul Mohsen Al Ajmi after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Jacinto Espinoza. A very good opportunity. Khalefa Al Rifaee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhan Al Fadhalah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Doaej Al Gareb took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jacinto Espinoza to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basel Al Balool to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rashed Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Espinoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashed Al Sarraf in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, DES HUN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khaled Al Sarraf came free, but Khalefa Al Rifaee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalefa Al Rifaee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaled Al Sarraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Abdulatif Al Dekhel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doaej Al Gareb in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Espinoza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Ad Academy's Khalefa Al Rifaee threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Farhan Al Fadhalah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashed Al Sarraf in the 61st minute of play forced Ad Academy's goalkeeper Jacinto Espinoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farhan Al Fadhalah hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rashed Al Sarraf in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Espinoza saved Ad Academy from getting behind. Ad Academy's Jacinto Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashed Al Sarraf in the 66th minute of play. When Rashed Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the DES HUN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rashed Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Doaej Al Gareb managed to get in a good position for a shot. DES HUN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Doaej Al Gareb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Espinoza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ad Academy's Jacinto Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doaej Al Gareb in the 72nd minute of play. DES HUN FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdul Mohsen Al Ajmi in the 73rd minute. Abbas Al Ansari kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Rashed Al Sarraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashed Al Sarraf in the 77th minute of play forced Ad Academy's goalkeeper Jacinto Espinoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalefa Al Rifaee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Al Sarraf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ad Academy! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for DES HUN FC. Rashed Al Sarraf stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacinto Espinoza. 4-0. Jacinto Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamem Shams in the 87th minute of play. Abdul Mohsen Al Ajmi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Ad Academy's Abbas Al Ansari got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Khalefa Al Rifaee. When Khaled Al Sarraf fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Academy's protests and gave Khaled Al Sarraf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th minute, Khaled Al Sarraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DES HUN FC fully deserved thier win.
