The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Rajab Al Habshi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ and the Saudi Pro Team City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rajab Al Habshi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's zone, Hamed Al Bloshi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheng Hong came out of the goal and Hamed Al Bloshi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cheng Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younis Taqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheng Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Younis Taqi in the 24th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Rajab Al Habshi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Cheng Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ got a freekick which was hit by Bassam Al Qattamy. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Younis Taqi made a kick off. Younis Taqi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Saudi Pro Team City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jaffer Al Qattan hit a great ball. A collision led to Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yaseen Al Shaikh hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Riad Abol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bassam Al Hadad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cheng Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Younis Taqi in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ defense, Hamed Al Bloshi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheng Hong. The Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cheng Hong should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Hamed Al Bloshi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saudi Pro Team City:s Bassam Al Hadad showed great skill when he stopped Riad Abol:s penalty. Bassam Al Hadad came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Riad Abol. But to his dismay, Riad Abol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Riad Abol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's supporters rose to their feet, but Riad Abol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bassam Al Hadad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Saudi Pro Team City's much stronger midfield.
