Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Steeple Claydon City's Falah Al Qattan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doaej Al Gareb got free with Mosalam Al Srae in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steeple Claydon City's Mosalam Al Srae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doaej Al Gareb in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Tamem Shams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Abdul Mohsen Al Ajmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Shabeb Al Sherazi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steeple Claydon City's protests and gave Shabeb Al Sherazi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DES HUN FC booed when Steeple Claydon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shabeb Al Sherazi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Steeple Claydon City's goalkeeper Mosalam Al Srae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rashed Al Sarraf. Tamem Shams struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mosalam Al Srae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DES HUN FC. Khalefa Al Rifaee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falah Al Qattan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rashed Al Sarraf made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Hussain Al Khars took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Khalefa Al Rifaee to make any attempt to save it. Tamem Shams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The DES HUN FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when DES HUN FC's Doaej Al Gareb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tamem Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mosalam Al Srae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghaith Al Abdullah's late challenge caught a DES HUN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghaith Al Abdullah helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DES HUN FC booed when Steeple Claydon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghaith Al Abdullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mosalam Al Srae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashed Al Sarraf in the 72nd minute of play. Doaej Al Gareb took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mosalam Al Srae. Mosalam Al Srae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Doaej Al Gareb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steeple Claydon City's Mosalam Al Srae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, DES HUN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bassam Al Attar came free, but Khalefa Al Rifaee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosalam Al Srae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashed Al Sarraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mosalam Al Srae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashed Al Sarraf in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, DES HUN FC's Doaej Al Gareb made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mosalam Al Srae was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DES HUN FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Steeple Claydon City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
