The referee ignored DES HUN FC's protests and gave Mohammad Al Najdi a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes DES HUN FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Al Najdi. Khalefa Al Rifaee came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Weir AFC's Eduardo Delfino. But to his dismay, Eduardo Delfino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Weir AFC booed when DES HUN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gibrel Taiban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Weir AFC's Sayed Al Hashash nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalefa Al Rifaee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Abdullah Bo Resley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weir AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DES HUN FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Weir AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullah Bo Resley to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, DES HUN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamem Shams to maneuver through the defense. Khalefa Al Rifaee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Delfino in the 46th minute of the match. Sayed Al Hashash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Khalefa Al Rifaee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Weir AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rashed Al Sarraf to strike the kick off in the second half. Ayman Al Ali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Khalefa Al Rifaee made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, DES HUN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Bonifaz came free, but Khalefa Al Rifaee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Tamem Shams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DES HUN FC's goalkeeper Khalefa Al Rifaee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sari Al Holey kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Abdul Mohsen Al Ajmi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of DES HUN FC booed when Weir AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayman Al Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tamem Shams managed to get in a good position for a shot. DES HUN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tamem Shams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 董斐霆 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Bonifaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Khalefa Al Rifaee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdulatif Al Dekhel's late challenge caught a Weir AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulatif Al Dekhel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DES HUN FC's Abdulatif Al Dekhel got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sari Al Holey's late challenge caught a DES HUN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sari Al Holey helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Weir AFC! The supporters of Weir AFC booed when DES HUN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashed Al Sarraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
