The supporters of Almetyevsk booed when Cheboksary FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniil Govoruhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Ananasov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikita Chuevskiy in the 14th managed to get into a good position. Artur Bogdanchikov took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeriy Hropach. Valeriy Hropach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nikita Chuevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Hropach having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Ananasov made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Almetyevsk got a freekick which was hit by Denis Gliskov. 53 minutes into the match, Cheboksary FC's Roman Ananasov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stepan Palashkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Nikita Chuevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valeriy Hropach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Bogdanchikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Innokentiy Nekrasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stepan Palashkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Dolmatovskiy in the 66th minute of play. Valeriy Hropach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artem Popovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Roman Ananasov's late challenge caught a Almetyevsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Ananasov helped the player get up and apologised. Valeriy Hropach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikita Chuevskiy in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Nikita Chuevskiy could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Valeriy Hropach however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute, Artur Bogdanchikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikita Chuevskiy had several of the Cheboksary FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Valeriy Hropach as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Artur Bogdanchikov came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Almetyevsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Bogdanchikov couldn't finish the play. Cheboksary FC's Valeriy Hropach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Bogdanchikov in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Cheboksary FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nikita Chuevskiy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over Almetyevsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cheboksary FC throughout the match.
