The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Mezhdurechensk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Gilyaziev to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fedor Dmitriev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magadan's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedor Dmitriev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksandr Kostin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mezhdurechensk were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Magadan to leave the ground with a draw.
