The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oktyabrsky fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Kamyshin HC's Danil Schukin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Dehkanov in the 19th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantin Bessonov made a kick off. Lev Alenichev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kamyshin HC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aleksey Bogdanov hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Oktyabrsky's Mikhail Ganeshin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Mikhail Ganeshin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oktyabrsky's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikhail Ganeshin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danil Schukin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Oktyabrsky's German Dehkanov in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
