Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Semen Myasnikov got the match started through his kick off. Pavel Afanasenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semen Myasnikov's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Semen Myasnikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Afanasenko made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Vsevolod Galkov sent off a good shot on target. Vsevolod Galkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 minutes, Rudolf Boldyrev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novy Urengoy and the souz питер 101 players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Igor Bochmanov, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kirill Tarasov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vsevolod Galkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Afanasenko having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Bochmanov was the one to do the kick off. Dmitriy Kupovetskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Tarasov having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Andrey Leonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match, Igor Bochmanov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kirill Tarasov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Semen Myasnikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pavel Afanasenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vsevolod Galkov in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Afanasenko saved souz питер 101 from getting behind. Novy Urengoy's Vsevolod Galkov got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Semen Myasnikov took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Afanasenko. Pavel Afanasenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Semen Myasnikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novy Urengoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semen Myasnikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirill Tarasov made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dmitriy Kupovetskiy sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vsevolod Galkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novy Urengoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Vsevolod Galkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Afanasenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konstantin Katash kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in souz питер 101's zone, Konstantin Gorbunov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Afanasenko came out of the goal and Konstantin Gorbunov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, souz питер 101's Konstantin Katash got a free kick in the 84th minute. Pavel Afanasenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vsevolod Galkov in the 90th minute of play. Pavel Afanasenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semen Myasnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Vsevolod Galkov struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Pavel Afanasenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novy Urengoy.
