When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Scherbakov made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Elista FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Titov. Rostislav Ishigenov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zinoviy Golinskiy having to make a save. Kirill Kungurov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Evsey Leonisov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Elista FC defense, Artem Zhdanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evsey Leonisov. The Elista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evsey Leonisov should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taganrog FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elista FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
