An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Filimon Naumov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniil Shevchenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Kulakov in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Mitrofan Teterin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nikita Olshanskiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Evgeniy Chalunovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Ernest Voschevoz scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Daniil Shevchenko who was too lazy, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Shahty's Vasiliy Adamov got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Vladimir Mordvinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Olshanskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filimon Naumov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitrofan Teterin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikita Olshanskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mitrofan Teterin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerasim Popov charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerasim Popov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Gerasim Popov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filimon Naumov made a kick off. Nikita Olshanskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitrofan Teterin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ernest Voschevoz charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Voschevoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, one of Shahty:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shahty. Nikita Olshanskiy went to the wrong direction when Egor Agafonov was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nikita Olshanskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitrofan Teterin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Filimon Naumov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shahty's supporters rose to their feet, but Filimon Naumov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniil Shevchenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cталкер's zone, Filimon Naumov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniil Shevchenko came out of the goal and Filimon Naumov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mitrofan Teterin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nikita Olshanskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Egor Aksenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Damir Sushkov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniil Shevchenko skillfully saved the ball. Nikita Olshanskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitrofan Teterin in the 99th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
