When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vyacheslav Zarubin made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Mikhail Popkov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Evgeniy Sharapov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David Tumanov came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Krasnoyarsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Tumanov couldn't finish the play. Evgeniy Sharapov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Grozny FC's zone, David Tumanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikhail Popkov came out of the goal and David Tumanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evgeniy Sharapov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When David Tumanov came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Krasnoyarsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Tumanov couldn't finish the play. David Tumanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikhail Popkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Tumanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Viktor Yagudin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Yagudin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Krasnoyarsk getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Viktor Yagudin hit a great ball. Evgeniy Sharapov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Popkov having to interfere. The Krasnoyarsk players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Grozny FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
