Roman Gordeychuk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Konstantin Kirillov fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nizhnekamsk FC's protests and gave Konstantin Kirillov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nizhnekamsk FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Konstantin Kirillov hit a great ball. Georgiy Arbatskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roman Gordeychuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Boleslav Chilindin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem Veretennikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Innokentiy Samsonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Roman Frize was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mytishchi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nizhnekamsk FC the free kick. After 39 played minutes Mytishchi got a freekick which was hit by Roman Frize. After recieving a nice pass, Nizhnekamsk FC's Yuvenaliy Starozhilov tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Mytishchi's Boleslav Chilindin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Gordeychuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Mytishchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dmitriy Zhitkov to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Artem Veretennikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Innokentiy Samsonov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boleslav Chilindin made a kick off. Innokentiy Samsonov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artem Veretennikov in the 55th minute. Artem Veretennikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innokentiy Samsonov having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nizhnekamsk FC's goalkeeper Roman Gordeychuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nizhnekamsk FC's Roman Gordeychuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslav Chilindin in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes Nizhnekamsk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dmitriy Zhitkov who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dmitriy Zhitkov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nizhnekamsk FC's Roman Gordeychuk did a great save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mytishchi's goalkeeper Innokentiy Samsonov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boleslav Chilindin might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Gordeychuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslav Chilindin ran back to his position shaking his head. Innokentiy Samsonov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artem Veretennikov in the 76th minute. Mytishchi's Boleslav Chilindin got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boleslav Chilindin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Artem Veretennikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georgiy Arbatskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Gordeychuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslav Chilindin in the 97th minute of play. Nizhnekamsk FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mytishchi had controlled the match.
