MercURRI's Ivan Markevich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Luzgin in the 4th minute of play. Ivan Markevich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timofey Adamovskiy in the 7th minute of the match. Timofey Adamovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Markevich having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Orel's Stepan Noskov got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ivan Markevich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Gorbachev in the 15th minute of play. Timofey Adamovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, MercURRI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allande Cuadrado to maneuver through the defense. MercURRI's Potap Davydov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petr Havroshin, made in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Potap Davydov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MercURRI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orel the free kick. After 27 played minutes MercURRI got a freekick which was hit by Potap Davydov. In the 28th minute, Viktor Luzgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Orel's Timofey Adamovskiy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Markevich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timofey Adamovskiy in the 36th minute of play forced MercURRI's goalkeeper Ivan Markevich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timofey Adamovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timofey Adamovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allande Cuadrado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Markevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allande Cuadrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Markevich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Luzgin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ivan Markevich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Luzgin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orel were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MercURRI's much stronger midfield.
