Vadim Kononov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semen Komarov in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game, Voldemar Akulin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ilya Flyarkovskiy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Voldemar Akulin in the 34th minute of play forced FC УРАЛ's goalkeeper Ilya Flyarkovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Semen Komarov struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Vadim Kononov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC УРАЛ. Vadim Kononov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Slesarenko's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Semen Komarov was the one to do the kick off. Petr Krymov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Elista booed when FC УРАЛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evdokim Denisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timofey Arabov during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timofey Arabov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ilya Flyarkovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Voldemar Akulin in the 63rd minute of the match. Elista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Krymov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petr Krymov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petr Krymov in the 82nd minute of play forced FC УРАЛ's goalkeeper Ilya Flyarkovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Semen Komarov during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Semen Komarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Voldemar Akulin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilya Flyarkovskiy. FC УРАЛ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Voldemar Akulin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Elista's zone, Semen Komarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vadim Kononov came out of the goal and Semen Komarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Igor Slesarenko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Elista's Vadim Kononov. Vadim Kononov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Semen Komarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC УРАЛ's supporters rose to their feet, but Semen Komarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vadim Kononov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over FC УРАЛ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elista throughout the match.
