The audience was convinced that Andron Filippov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Kolobov was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Pyatigorsk's Andron Filippov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantin Kolobov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Stanislav Polenov made a precise shot to the right of Konstantin Kolobov. Pyatigorsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. But to his dismay, Andron Filippov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Stanislav Polenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andron Filippov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Konstantin Kolobov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Pyatigorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Kapustin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Innokentiy Golubev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stanislav Polenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantin Kolobov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Polenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Konstantin Kolobov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Polenov in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislav Polenov in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Kolobov saved Pyatigorsk from getting behind. Innokentiy Golubev's late challenge caught a Pyatigorsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Innokentiy Golubev helped the player get up and apologised. Innokentiy Golubev hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Pyatigorsk's Konstantin Kolobov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Polenov in the 77th minute of play. Stanislav Polenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pyatigorsk getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dmitriy Kozlov hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Arseniy Devyatkin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Konstantin Kolobov, passed just outside the right post. Konstantin Kolobov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Polenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Pyatigorsk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pyatigorsk.
