Yuriy Dymarskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kim Arshavin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fedor Teleshov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timur Grave breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Georgiy Chernov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timur Grave was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rio Branco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
