Foma Golovin started the match with the kick off. Roman Rakhimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Georgiy Borisov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 5 in the game by Foma Golovin from a close distance when the talented Georgiy Borisov managed to make a qualified save. Spartak Moscow FC's players were relieved. 7 minutes into the game, Mikhail Takunov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spartak Moscow FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Грызло the free kick. Mikhail Takunov hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Spartak Moscow FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Грызло:s goal. If Petr Dormakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartak Moscow FC's goalkeeper Georgiy Borisov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Spartak Moscow FC's Georgiy Borisov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Spartak Moscow FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Zinoviy Stolypin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Foma Golovins short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Georgiy Borisov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd minute Efim Esipov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejnar Hirsbøll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Грызло getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valeriy Evfimovskiy hit a great ball. Georgiy Borisov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavrentiy Muhalev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Foma Golovin made a precise shot to the right of Georgiy Borisov. Spartak Moscow FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Грызло's Petr Dormakov got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Spartak Moscow FC's Georgiy Borisov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinoviy Stolypin in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Rakhimov in the 53rd minute of play forced Spartak Moscow FC's goalkeeper Georgiy Borisov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilya Kruk during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Ilya Kruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georgiy Borisov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foma Golovin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Грызло's Petr Dormakov got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Грызло booed when Spartak Moscow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georgiy Borisov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Грызло's Foma Golovin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georgiy Borisov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petr Dormakov took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georgiy Borisov. Georgiy Borisov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Georgiy Borisov came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Грызло's Lavrentiy Muhalev. But to his dismay, Lavrentiy Muhalev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikolay Stepanov during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Грызло's Semen Reshetin was substituted for Foma Golovin. After 79 played minutes Spartak Moscow FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Gordeev. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Semen Reshetin sped through Spartak Moscow FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georgiy Borisov. Semen Reshetin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Georgiy Borisov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Semen Reshetin put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Georgiy Borisov. If Semen Reshetin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Грызло's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
