Denis Karo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Angarsk HC's Makar Chernenko. But to his dismay, Makar Chernenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 45 minutes in the game, Makar Chernenko dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Makar Chernenko to strike the kick off in the second half. Angarsk HC's Makar Chernenko got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Konstantin Garve fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Denis Karo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Filippov, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The attack was good, but when Makar Chernenko in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gerasim Kotov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
