Spectators: 6644 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taganrog's goalkeeper Gennadiy Ponomarev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lev Vidov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Korolev in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trofim Syroezhkin saved Angarsk HC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makar Chernenko in the 14th minute of play forced Taganrog's goalkeeper Gennadiy Ponomarev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergey Sharov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gennadiy Ponomarev. Taganrog's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Trofim Syroezhkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Korolev in the 20th minute of the match. Taganrog's Gennadiy Ponomarev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makar Chernenko in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Makar Chernenko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gennadiy Ponomarev. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Angarsk HC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rudolf Blinov hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Angarsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksey Bessalov came free, but Trofim Syroezhkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Makar Chernenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gennadiy Ponomarev having to interfere. When Vladimir Korolev came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Taganrog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Korolev couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Taganrog booed when Angarsk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Filippov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Vladimir Korolev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Vladimir Korolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trofim Syroezhkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Angarsk HC booed when Taganrog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikanor Matveev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Trofim Syroezhkin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Vladimir Korolev sent off a good shot on target. Trofim Syroezhkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Bessalov in the 58th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Makar Chernenko sped through Taganrog's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gennadiy Ponomarev. Angarsk HC's Trofim Syroezhkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Bessalov in the 64th minute of play. Gennadiy Ponomarev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Makar Chernenko's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Aleksey Bessalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Vladimir Korolev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Korolev's late challenge caught a Angarsk HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Korolev helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimir Korolev kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vladimir Korolev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taganrog's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Korolev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trofim Syroezhkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88th play minutes Makar Chernenko shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Gennadiy Ponomarev and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Gerasim Kotov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angarsk HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerasim Kotov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Makar Chernenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Trofim Syroezhkin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taganrog players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Angarsk HC.
