Lev Baltanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Dorofeev having to interfere. The --- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vadim Dorofeev should have stopped the shot. Vladimir Iskandarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Puchkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vadim Dorofeev having to make a save. Vadim Dorofeev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Iskandarov's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Vadim Dorofeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Iskandarov in the 25th minute of play. Pavel Puchkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Dorofeev having to interfere. After 28 played minutes --- got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Abhazov. Vladimir Iskandarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Lev Baltanov came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Химик fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Baltanov couldn't finish the play. Denis Dyachkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Химик's Denis Dyachkov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vladimir Maksimov, made in the 44th minute of the game. Vadim Dorofeev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Iskandarov's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Maletskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Vladimir Iskandarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Dorofeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denis Dyachkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Vadim Dorofeev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lev Baltanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Химик's Denis Dyachkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vadim Dorofeev. That made the score 0-3 after 57 minutes of play. Pavel Puchkovs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Vadim Dorofeev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pavel Puchkov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Vadim Dorofeev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in ---'s zone, Lev Baltanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vadim Dorofeev came out of the goal and Lev Baltanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Puchkov got free with Vadim Dorofeev in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, Daniil Abhazov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ---'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Химик the free kick. In the 70th match minute, --- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Abhazov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Химик booed when --- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Maletskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pavel Puchkov came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Химик fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Puchkov couldn't finish the play. Lev Baltanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vadim Dorofeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Химик made a substitution. Roman Anyukov replaced Ernest Mamedov. Pavel Puchkov took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vadim Dorofeev. Vadim Dorofeev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Lev Baltanov came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Химик fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Baltanov couldn't finish the play. Pavel Puchkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Vadim Dorofeev made a huge save. When Lev Baltanov came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Химик fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Baltanov couldn't finish the play. Химик's Denis Dyachkov got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The --- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Химик were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
