Sergey Ivanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Oleg Aldanov made a huge save. The supporters of Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC booed when ZSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semen Apanasenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petr Vorontsov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Gennadiy Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Anyakin in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Aleksey Evdokimov got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Pavel Alov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oleg Aldanov to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vladimir Burov hit a great ball. Oleg Aldanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Alov in the 23rd minute. Vladimir Burov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Aldanov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ZSKA's Gleb Fedulin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Pavel Alov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ZSKA's Arseniy Danilov got a free kick in the 31st minute. ZSKA's Oleg Aldanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ZSKA from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Pavel Alov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oleg Aldanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oleg Aldanov made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Vladimir Burov sent off a good shot on target. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Vladimir Burov was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Vladimir Burov came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Burov couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Gennadiy Dudyrev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZSKA the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Dudyrev to maneuver through the defense. Oleg Aldanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Evdokimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Burov in the 58th minute of play forced ZSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Aldanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Gennadiy Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihon Ilyin in the 62nd minute of play. The Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Vladimir Burov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pavel Alov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Aldanov having to interfere. Gennadiy Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tihon Ilyin in the 70th minute of play. Tihon Ilyin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oleg Aldanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Burov went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrey Petuhov during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrey Petuhov kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Sergey Ivanov struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Oleg Aldanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC. Pavel Alov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
