Spectators: 5219 (Terracing: 4099, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 20) After 2 played minutes Fc Baltika got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Suvorov. Rostislav Baidak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efim Alekseev in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Anton Babich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Korolev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Naberezhnye Chelny FC's Igor Borisov got a free kick in the 9th minute. Rostislav Baidak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Teplitskiy in the 11th minute of play. When Efim Alekseev came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Fc Baltika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efim Alekseev couldn't finish the play. Vladimir Korolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipp Aksenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Vadim Suvorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Baidak having to interfere. Vladimir Korolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Babich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arkadiy Teplitskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rostislav Baidak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arkadiy Teplitskiy came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fc Baltika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiy Teplitskiy couldn't finish the play. Nikifor Zakharov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc Baltika's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vadim Suvorov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Babich in the 40th minute of play forced Fc Baltika's goalkeeper Vladimir Korolev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rostislav Baidak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiy Teplitskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Naberezhnye Chelny FC's goalkeeper Rostislav Baidak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikifor Zakharov. Vadim Suvorov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rostislav Baidak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arkadiy Teplitskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Babich was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fc Baltika's Ruslan Fokin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Nikifor Zakharov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rostislav Baidak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Arkadiy Teplitskiy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Naberezhnye Chelny FC's Rostislav Baidak. Rostislav Baidak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vladimir Korolev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Babich in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Igor Borisov notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fc Baltika's Vladimir Korolev. Vladimir Korolev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the game, Yuriy Dementiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naberezhnye Chelny FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Baltika the free kick. After some careless play in the Naberezhnye Chelny FC defense, Aleksandr Pugachev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rostislav Baidak. The Naberezhnye Chelny FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rostislav Baidak should have stopped the shot. If Arkadiy Teplitskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, Fc Baltika's Nikifor Zakharov made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rostislav Baidak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fc Baltika players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
