Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrey Novikov started the match with the kick off. Dmitriy Urazov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Novikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Filimon Gurevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrey Novikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filimon Gurevich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Novikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Saratov HC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Arshavin. Filimon Gurevich was a little too slow when Dmitriy Urazov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egor Dondukov to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saratov HC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Marat Tupikin hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Dmitriy Urazov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filimon Gurevich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Saratov HC's Andrey Novikov made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filimon Gurevich was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dmitriy Urazov sped through Korolev FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filimon Gurevich. If Andrey Novikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Semen Abramov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korolev FC and the Saratov HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Saratov HC booed when Korolev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semen Abramov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrey Novikov took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filimon Gurevich. Filimon Gurevich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 79 minutes into the game, Andrey Novikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Filimon Gurevich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Korolev FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Novikov came free, but Filimon Gurevich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonid Irdebenev made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Leonid Lazarev sent off a good shot on target. Saratov HC's Andrey Novikov got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dmitriy Urazov scored 7-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filimon Gurevich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Saratov HC were the better team. Saratov HC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
