Vladimir Korolev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Burov got free with Vladimir Korolev in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimir Korolev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 64 played minutes, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's Gennadiy Dudyrev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimir Korolev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The Fc Baltika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Korolev should have stopped the shot. If Arkadiy Teplitskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC had won after a very even match.
