Bratsk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Gerasim Lyutov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bratsk FC's Irakliy Minko. Irakliy Minko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filimon Rodimov hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Gerasim Lyutov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irakliy Minko. Anatoliy Olenenko scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irakliy Minko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ФК КрасноДАР fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. ФК КрасноДАР's attentive Filimon Rodimov managed to snatch the ball when Denis Potapov made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Anatoliy Olenenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irakliy Minko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anatoliy Olenenko ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Gerasim Lyutov sped through Bratsk FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irakliy Minko. Gerasim Lyutov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irakliy Minko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoliy Olenenko in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mikhail Arshavin made the kick off in the second half. Filimon Rodimov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, ФК КрасноДАР's Anatoliy Olenenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irakliy Minko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petr Harlamov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Gerasim Lyutov made a precise shot to the right of Irakliy Minko. Bratsk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After having played for 60 minutes, Mikhail Arshavin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bratsk FC's Irakliy Minko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Artmann in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bratsk FC defense, Gerasim Lyutov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irakliy Minko. The Bratsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irakliy Minko should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Petr Harlamov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ФК КрасноДАР's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
