Mikhail Khokhlov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Esenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 played minutes ЦСКА Москва got a freekick which was hit by Serafín Alcalde. If Yuvenaliy Ignatov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Svyatoslav Pronichev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zlatoust FC and the ЦСКА Москва players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zlatoust FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Svyatoslav Pronichev hit a great ball. ЦСКА Москва's Henry Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuvenaliy Ignatov struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mikhail Khokhlov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zlatoust FC. ЦСКА Москва's Mikhail Khokhlov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ЦСКА Москва from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniil Medvedev made the kick off in the second half. Aleksey Smertin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Costa in the 58th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Daniil Medvedev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mikhail Khokhlov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes Zlatoust FC got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Marinin. In the 82nd match minute, Zlatoust FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Esenin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Yuvenaliy Ignatov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zlatoust FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuvenaliy Ignatov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes of play, ЦСКА Москва's Henry Costa made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksey Smertin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zlatoust FC had won after a very even match.
