Yakov Zaitsev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Dmitriy Doronin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yakov Zaitsev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Doronin in the 22nd minute of play forced Pskov's goalkeeper Yakov Zaitsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yakov Zaitsev came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC SSAU 2007's Gerasim Karakin. But to his dismay, Gerasim Karakin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Oleg Ushakov struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aleksey Semeiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pskov. Petr Dalechin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Semeiko having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikhail Afanasenko to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernest Cherchesov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Yakov Zaitsev made a huge save. Pskov's Yakov Zaitsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitriy Doronin in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Petr Dalechin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Semeiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC SSAU 2007's Yakov Zaitsev threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Georgiy Shilov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ernest Cherchesov came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yakov Zaitsev could save by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Pskov's goalkeeper Yakov Zaitsev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerasim Karakin. If Georgiy Shilov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Andron Uskov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC SSAU 2007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pskov the free kick. Andron Uskov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Andrey Kudnyakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pskov's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrey Kudnyakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksey Semeiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerasim Karakin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Yakov Zaitsev made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Dmitriy Doronin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yakov Zaitsev, 1-6. Yakov Zaitsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitriy Doronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yakov Zaitsev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerasim Karakin in the 87th minute. Yakov Zaitsev made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ernest Cherchesov sent off a good shot on target. Yakov Zaitsev was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Ernest Cherchesov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernest Cherchesov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. When the match was over FC SSAU 2007 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pskov throughout the match.
