In the 14th minute, Artem Lashevich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Dimitrovgrad1 FC defense, Mikhail Afanasenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladislav Petrov. The Dimitrovgrad1 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladislav Petrov should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Dimitrovgrad1 FC's Nikolay Shilov got a free kick in the 20th minute. Vadim Glezarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Yakov Zaitsev made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artem Gerasimovich got free with Yakov Zaitsev in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yakov Zaitsev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasiliy Zlotnikov in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Mikhail Afanasenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakov Zaitsev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artem Gerasimovich in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Arkadiy Kulaev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yakov Zaitsev. The goal made the score 3-1. Yakov Zaitsev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiy Kulaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Yakov Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artem Gerasimovich in the 38th minute of play. Pskov's Yakov Zaitsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiy Kulaev in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiy Kulaev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Averchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Anatoliy Ametistov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Arkadiy Kulaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakov Zaitsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artem Gerasimovich in the 57th minute of play forced Pskov's goalkeeper Yakov Zaitsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Pskov's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Glezarov came free, but Yakov Zaitsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yakov Zaitsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiy Kulaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasiliy Zlotnikov took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yakov Zaitsev. Yakov Zaitsev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Yakov Zaitsev came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Dimitrovgrad1 FC's Arkadiy Kulaev. But to his dismay, Arkadiy Kulaev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 75th minute Vadim Glezarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakov Zaitsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Nikolay Shilov put in a rough tackle. Arkadiy Kulaev hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lev Kovtun got free with Vladislav Petrov in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pskov's attentive Mikhail Afanasenko managed to snatch the ball when Artem Lashevich made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Artem Lashevich made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vadim Glezarov however managed to control. Yakov Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Glezarov in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Dimitrovgrad1 FC were the better team. Dimitrovgrad1 FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
