Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vladimir Kostin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oleg Kanivetskiy scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yakov Zaitsev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Kostin in the 13th minute of play forced Pskov's goalkeeper Yakov Zaitsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oktyabrsky FC's Vyacheslav Rogovskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Oktyabrsky FC from getting a goal against them. Stepan Antipov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Yakov Zaitsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Pskov's Sergey Kochar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sergey Kochar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pskov protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sergey Kochar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sergey Kochar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Oktyabrsky FC's Oleg Kanivetskiy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yakov Zaitsev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oktyabrsky FC reached it. The supporters of Pskov booed when Oktyabrsky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Turov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zahar Lebedenko made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stepan Antipov immediately put the ball in play. 33 minutes into the match, Pskov's goal looked a bit too open when Ippolit Kudinov came free, but Yakov Zaitsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zahar Lebedenko made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Evgeniy Prudnikov however managed to control. The supporters of Oktyabrsky FC booed when Pskov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Ushakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vladimir Kostin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oleg Ushakov came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pskov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oleg Ushakov couldn't finish the play. Pskov's Yakov Zaitsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Kostin in the 43rd minute of play. Lev Kovtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Rogovskiy having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Pskov got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Ushakov.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lev Kovtun was the one to do the kick off. Yakov Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Kostin in the 57th minute of play. Evgeniy Prudnikov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yakov Zaitsev came out and tried to block the shot, but Evgeniy Prudnikov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. Pskov's Lev Kovtun got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zahar Lebedenko fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oktyabrsky FC's protests and gave Zahar Lebedenko a yellow card for diving instead. Lev Kovtun, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 69 played minutes Oktyabrsky FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Klechikov. Oktyabrsky FC's Vyacheslav Rogovskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Afanasenko in the 74th minute of play. Yakov Zaitsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Kostin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilya Dorenskiy hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Zahar Lebedenko made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stepan Antipov. The supporters of Oktyabrsky FC booed when Pskov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniil Khokhlov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yakov Zaitsev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Kostin in the 96th minute of the match. Oktyabrsky FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
