Nefteyugansk's Valentin Gordeychuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Kryukov in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Nefteyugansk's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeniy Prudnikov came free, but Valentin Gordeychuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nefteyugansk's zone, Vladimir Kostin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Evgeniy Prudnikov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oktyabrsky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nefteyugansk the free kick. Evgeniy Prudnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vsevolod Krylov kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vladimir Kostin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oktyabrsky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Kostin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Gordeychuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 92 minutes, Marat Kebich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nefteyugansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marat Kebich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vyacheslav Rogovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Kudryashov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Marat Kebich received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vyacheslav Rogovskiy came out and tried to block the shot, but Marat Kebich slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oktyabrsky FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nefteyugansk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
