In the 4th minute Arkadiy Kulaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irakliy Fioletov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Dimitrovgrad1 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Anyukov came free, but Vladislav Petrov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Leonid Anyukov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladislav Petrov. Dimitrovgrad1 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonid Anyukov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vadim Glezarov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Irakliy Fioletov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arkadiy Kulaev sped through Grozny FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irakliy Fioletov. 30 minutes into the game, Leonid Anyukov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vladislav Petrov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Dimitrovgrad1 FC defense, Georgiy Rybakov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladislav Petrov. The Dimitrovgrad1 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladislav Petrov should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Dimitrovgrad1 FC's Artem Saprykin got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Andrey Berketov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladislav Petrov skillfully saved the ball. Vladislav Petrov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgiy Rybakov in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Yaroslav Protasevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladislav Petrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiy Kulaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonid Anyukov to make the kick off. Vladislav Petrov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Anyukov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitrovgrad1 FC's Vladislav Petrov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Anyukov in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Dimitrovgrad1 FC booed when Grozny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaroslav Protasevich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georgiy Rybakov took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladislav Petrov. Vladislav Petrov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 65th minute Petr Panfilov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladislav Petrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Panfilov took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladislav Petrov. Vladislav Petrov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Vladislav Petrov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonid Anyukov's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Irakliy Fioletov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiy Kulaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georgiy Rybakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petr Panfilov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Vladislav Petrov made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Arkadiy Kulaev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dimitrovgrad1 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiy Kulaev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irakliy Fioletov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Grozny FC got a freekick which was hit by Georgiy Rybakov. Grozny FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
