Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerd Müller in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egor Urazov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Rustam Blinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darren Couzens was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rustam Blinov in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Couzens saved Kislovodsk from getting behind. Gerd Müller in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egor Urazov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35thth minute of the game Gerd Müller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC 2 October's Egor Urazov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rustam Blinov in the 38th minute of play forced Kislovodsk's goalkeeper Darren Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Kislovodsk's corner Mark Ivkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egor Urazov quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerd Müller was the one to do the kick off. Darren Couzens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Uvarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksandr Zhuravlev in the 53rd minute of play forced FC 2 October's goalkeeper Egor Urazov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Chigirinskiy's late challenge caught a Kislovodsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Chigirinskiy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, FC 2 October was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Chigirinskiy to maneuver through the defense. Egor Urazov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Ivkov's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes FC 2 October's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mark Ivkov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kislovodsk's Mark Ivkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Egor Urazov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Darren Couzens was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Roman Uvarov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Uvarov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Kislovodsk's Gerd Müller got a free kick in the 68th minute. Darren Couzens made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Efim Soloviev sent off a good shot on target. Efim Solovievs short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Darren Couzens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Kislovodsk's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Uvarov came free, but Darren Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerd Müller in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egor Urazov saved FC 2 October from getting behind. With a little luck, Kislovodsk's Darren Couzens got control of the ball when Efim Soloviev tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Kislovodsk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC 2 October were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
