A collision led to Kostenki RU getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Denis Anyukov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kostenki RU's zone, Gerd Müller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Scherbatov came out of the goal and Gerd Müller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kostenki RU's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Ivkov came free, but Konstantin Scherbatov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sergey Korneev came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kostenki RU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Korneev couldn't finish the play. Konstantin Scherbatov was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Albert Klimchuk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albert Klimchuk really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 25th minute Aleksandr Zhuravlev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Scherbatov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Innokentiy Gulidov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stepan Kubatskiy hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Konstantin Scherbatov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Müller in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerd Müller in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Scherbatov saved Kostenki RU from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Gerd Müller put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantin Scherbatov. Veniamin Andreev kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Oleg Batanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantin Scherbatov skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes Kostenki RU got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Korneev. After 46 played minutes Gerd Müller rounded Kostenki RU's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gerd Müller made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Aleksandr Zhuravlev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kislovodsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksandr Zhuravlev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aleksandr Zhuravlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Konstantin Scherbatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Klimchuk in the 58th minute of play forced Kostenki RU's goalkeeper Konstantin Scherbatov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantin Scherbatov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Ivkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Eduard Gromovich charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Gromovich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Kostenki RU got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Gromovich. Gerd Müller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Scherbatov having to interfere. Darren Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Andreev, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Stepan Kubatskiy fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kostenki RU's protests and gave Stepan Kubatskiy a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Kostenki RU got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Kubatskiy. Konstantin Scherbatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Klimchuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstantin Scherbatov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Klimchuk in the 71st minute of play. Darren Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Andreev, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Stepan Ilyin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Kislovodsk's Nildo Hoffmann was substituted for Mark Ivkov. After 83 played minutes Kostenki RU got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Kubatskiy. After a rather tough play, Kostenki RU's Konstantin Lundin got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, Kislovodsk's Zinoviy Kranousov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konstantin Scherbatov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kislovodsk reached it. In the 86th minute, Aleksandr Zhuravlev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantin Scherbatov was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 90th minute, Sergey Korneev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Nildo Hoffmann notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Kostenki RU's Konstantin Scherbatov. Konstantin Scherbatov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
