Efim Kalachev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Semen Burlyay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mikhail Vedernikov charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikhail Vedernikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nizhnekamsk getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mikhail Vedernikov hit a great ball. Nevinnomyssk's Aleksey Amurskiy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Semen Burlyay but with some difficulty. 11 minutes into the game, Valeriy Aripov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nizhnekamsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevinnomyssk the free kick. Valeriy Aripov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Nevinnomyssk's Efim Kalachev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Semen Burlyay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 20 minutes, Andrey Efimov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevinnomyssk and the Nizhnekamsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrey Efimov hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Nizhnekamsk's Semen Burlyay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Nizhnekamsk from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nizhnekamsk's Valeriy Aripov got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Ilya Volkov came free, but Semen Burlyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ilya Volkov took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Semen Burlyay to make any attempt to save it. Valeriy Aripov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nizhnekamsk's Semen Burlyay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilya Volkov in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Nizhnekamsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriy Aripov to maneuver through the defense. Stanislav Markov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Malinovkin having to interfere. In the 48th minute Valeriy Aripov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Malinovkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilya Volkov was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ilya Volkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nevinnomyssk's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilya Volkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semen Burlyay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Efim Kalachev came free, but Semen Burlyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Aleksandr Malinovkin managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Nizhnekamsk's Stanislav Markov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roman Naumkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Nevinnomyssk got a freekick which was hit by Arseniy Durnov. After having played for 67 minutes, Stanislav Markov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizhnekamsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Markov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Nizhnekamsk's Roman Naumkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aleksandr Malinovkin. Aleksandr Malinovkin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Roman Naumkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efim Kalachev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Semen Burlyay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Efim Kalachev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevinnomyssk and the Nizhnekamsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Nevinnomyssk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efim Kalachev to maneuver through the defense. If Roman Naumkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nevinnomyssk getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Vladislav Alferov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nevinnomyssk's zone, Lev Alferov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandr Malinovkin came out of the goal and Lev Alferov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilya Volkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nizhnekamsk were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
