The audience thought a goal was coming when Efim Kalachev got free with Denis Haleev in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilya Volkov in the 15th minute of play forced Kiselevsk's goalkeeper Denis Haleev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksandr Malinovkin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Kiselevsk's Feoktist Chlenov. But to his dismay, Feoktist Chlenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Igor Cherkasskiy hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ilya Volkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Haleev was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Denis Haleev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efim Kalachev in the 24th minute. Denis Haleev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilya Volkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Grishko in the 27th minute of play forced Nevinnomyssk's goalkeeper Aleksandr Malinovkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feoktist Chlenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Malinovkin having to interfere. Hristofor Chernobaev's late challenge caught a Nevinnomyssk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hristofor Chernobaev helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikita Turov to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Hristofor Chernobaev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleksandr Malinovkin. That made the score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. Feoktist Chlenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Konstantin Grishko made a precise shot to the right of Aleksandr Malinovkin. Nevinnomyssk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Hristofor Chernobaev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Malinovkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Nikita Turov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Malinovkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksandr Malinovkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikita Turov in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Nevinnomyssk's goalkeeper Aleksandr Malinovkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hristofor Chernobaev. If Hristofor Chernobaev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Felix Novikov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevinnomyssk and the Kiselevsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Kiselevsk's Feoktist Chlenov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandr Malinovkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Nevinnomyssk booed when Kiselevsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Grishko didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Nevinnomyssk's Aleksandr Malinovkin got control of the ball when Hristofor Chernobaev tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Feoktist Chlenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 played minutes Nevinnomyssk got a freekick which was hit by Marat Balkashin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristofor Chernobaev got free with Aleksandr Malinovkin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hristofor Chernobaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aleksandr Malinovkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiselevsk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
