Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kazemir Nazarov started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ivanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Babushkin came free, but Timofey Novikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Volko Schnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Naschekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timofey Novikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vyacheslav Babushkin in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Achinsk's goalkeeper Volko Schnell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Varlamov. 12 minutes into the game, Ivanovo's Pavel Malafeev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Volko Schnell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th minute Igor Varlamov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volko Schnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Igor Varlamov made a precise shot to the right of Volko Schnell. Achinsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Rybakov in the 22nd minute of play forced Achinsk's goalkeeper Volko Schnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achinsk's Volko Schnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Naschekin in the 24th minute of play. Volko Schnell was a little too slow when Sergey Naschekin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivanovo's Aleksandr Zhitkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Volko Schnell. That made the score 4-0 after 29 minutes of play. Volko Schnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Naschekin in the 37th minute of the match. Vyacheslav Babushkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timofey Novikov having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Volko Schnell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Igor Varlamov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Volko Schnell made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Achinsk's Vyacheslav Babushkin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vyacheslav Babushkin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Achinsk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vyacheslav Babushkin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 played minutes Achinsk got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Babushkin. In the 45th minute, Igor Kuznetsov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Borshevtsov during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Mikhail Rybakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Achinsk getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. German Borshevtsov hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Igor Varlamov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Volko Schnell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Achinsk's Volko Schnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Varlamov in the 68th minute of play. Volko Schnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Naschekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sergey Naschekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Aleksandr Zhitkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volko Schnell. Achinsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksandr Zhitkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Sergey Naschekin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Volko Schnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksandr Zhitkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Kazemir Nazarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivanovo's Demyan Gordeev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maksim Derbyshev, made in the 88th minute of the game. Volko Schnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Naschekin in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Rybakov in the 94th minute of play forced Achinsk's goalkeeper Volko Schnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivanovo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
