If Felix Dubinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasım Nevzat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilya Volkov in the 16th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Karelia FC got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Rozhin. In the 18th match minute, Nevinnomyssk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egor Kostikov to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Karelia FC's Felix Dubinskiy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Malinovkin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kasım Nevzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilya Volkov in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Karelia FC booed when Nevinnomyssk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arseniy Durnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ivan Florenskiy from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Aleksandr Malinovkin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Felix Dubinskiys short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Aleksandr Malinovkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kasım Nevzat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efim Kalachev in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Albert Benediktov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 minutes of play, Karelia FC's Valeriy Gaidukov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksandr Malinovkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Felix Dubinskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karelia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dubinskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksandr Malinovkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Karelia FC's Felix Dubinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valeriy Gaidukov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aleksandr Malinovkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karelia FC's Kasım Nevzat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Karelia FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Karelia FC defense, Felix Novikov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasım Nevzat. The Karelia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasım Nevzat should have stopped the shot. Aleksandr Malinovkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Rozhin in the 62nd minute of play. Aleksandr Malinovkin came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Karelia FC's Felix Dubinskiy. But to his dismay, Felix Dubinskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Efim Kalachev came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Nevinnomyssk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efim Kalachev couldn't finish the play. If Valeriy Gaidukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dubinskiy in the 71st minute of play forced Nevinnomyssk's goalkeeper Aleksandr Malinovkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Viktor Gavrilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksandr Malinovkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriy Gaidukov in the 77th minute of the match. Albert Benediktov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karelia FC's Felix Dubinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nevinnomyssk's Aleksandr Malinovkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Gavrilov in the 82nd minute of play. Kasım Nevzat made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Efim Kalachev sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Karelia FC's Gennadiy Rozhin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Malinovkin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Felix Dubinskiy scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aleksandr Malinovkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kasım Nevzat made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Efim Kalachev sent off a good shot on target. Felix Dubinskiy hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Karelia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
