When Veniamin Kopylov fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khasaasvyurt's protests and gave Veniamin Kopylov a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of Khasaasvyurt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Afanasiy Abakushin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bianco Farina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Kir Lukyanchenko could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Ivan Budach however easily saved by the left post. Kir Lukyanchenko's late challenge caught a Astrakhan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kir Lukyanchenko helped the player get up and apologised. Kir Lukyanchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Gottschling during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Astrakhan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Khasaasvyurt:s goal. 44 minutes into the game, Astrakhan's Mark Frolov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irakliy Gordeychuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Bianco Farina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Fedor Ageev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fedor Ageev might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irakliy Gordeychuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedor Ageev ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Astrakhan's Mark Frolov got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Mikhail Hrennikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Budach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Savin in the 65th minute of the match.
