In the 7th minute, Danila Vekshin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Mezhdurechensk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filimon Abramov to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Yakunin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afanasiy Podrezov in the 11th minute of the match. When Vladimiro Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the ФК Рыбинск fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Hechter couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Rudolf Yakunin made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mezhdurechensk HC's Marat Moiseenko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Oleg Semenov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marat Moiseenko. Mezhdurechensk HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oleg Semenov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Filimon Trofimov made a precise shot to the right of Marat Moiseenko. Mezhdurechensk HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mezhdurechensk HC's zone, Oleg Semenov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marat Moiseenko came out of the goal and Oleg Semenov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniil Lebedev fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mezhdurechensk HC's protests and gave Daniil Lebedev a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Oleg Semenov took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Marat Moiseenko to make any attempt to save it. ФК Рыбинск's Rudolf Yakunin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Oleg Semenov made a precise shot to the right of Marat Moiseenko. Mezhdurechensk HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolf Yakunin made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Oleg Semenov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Marat Moiseenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Oleg Semenov made a precise shot to the right of Marat Moiseenko. Mezhdurechensk HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Marat Moiseenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Semenov in the 64th minute of play. Mezhdurechensk HC's Marat Moiseenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filimon Trofimov in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Mezhdurechensk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Yakunin came free, but Marat Moiseenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Rudolf Yakunin made a precise shot to the right of Marat Moiseenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Yakunin in the 79th minute of play forced Mezhdurechensk HC's goalkeeper Marat Moiseenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Oleg Semenov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Marat Moiseenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudolf Yakunin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marat Moiseenko. Marat Moiseenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Marat Moiseenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filimon Trofimov in the 88th minute of the match. Filimon Trofimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marat Moiseenko having to interfere. Filimon Trofimov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. There was no doubt that ФК Рыбинск were the better team. ФК Рыбинск's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
