Open Space's German Filippov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Lerych in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Veniamin Shashkov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Open Space's German Filippov. German Filippov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Shashkov in the 17th minute of play forced Open Space's goalkeeper German Filippov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportkarelclub FC's Emmanuil Pshenichnikov got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nikolay Sergeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Broyakovskiy in the 31st minute of the match. Afanasiy Dyachkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Damian Lerych put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of German Filippov. Open Space's German Filippov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veniamin Shashkov in the 40th minute of play. After the first half Sportkarelclub FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 66th minute Vsevolod Abeldyaev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Hernan Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportkarelclub FC's protests and gave Hernan Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Open Space booed when Sportkarelclub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
