Vyacheslav Omelyanenko helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Siberian Knights's zone, Pavel Lytkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Esipov came out of the goal and Pavel Lytkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Novovyatich's Pavel Lytkin in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Siberian Knights's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
