Sergey Smelyanskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Rudolf Chepasov sped through Noginsk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oleg Banketov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Rico in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergey Smelyanskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Osvaldo Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Noginsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Sergey Smelyanskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Rico's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The Saint Petersburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Noginsk were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipp Sobolev to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Rico got free with Sergey Smelyanskiy in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
