The supporters of FC Nalchik booed when Saint Petersburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipp Sobolev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitaliy Butyrskiy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergey Smelyanskiy came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitaliy Butyrskiy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute.
