The referee ignored Saint Petersburg's protests and gave Stanislav Afanasenko a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipp Sobolev made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dimitri Smeulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC. Armavir's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri Smeulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Dimitri Smeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergey Smelyanskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Eliseev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergey Smelyanskiy made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Dimitri Smeulders sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Konstantin Gavrilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Eliseev struck a weak shot in the 96th minute.
