Armavir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danil Vlasov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Dimitri Smeulders got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dimitri Smeulders's late challenge caught a Odinzovo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitri Smeulders helped the player get up and apologised. Dimitri Smeulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valentin Smirnov fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC. Armavir's protests and gave Valentin Smirnov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, one of FC. Armavir:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC. Armavir. The referee gave Odinzovo FC a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerasim Gusakovskiy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC. Armavir's Evgeniy Brodovoy. 2-1. 38 minutes into the game, Pavel Antoshkin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odinzovo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC. Armavir the free kick. Evgeniy Brodovoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoriy Afinogenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuriy Popovich made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dimitri Smeulders sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Odinzovo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dimitri Smeulders fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Odinzovo FC booed when FC. Armavir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Garve didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yuriy Popovich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Odinzovo FC's Yuriy Popovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Eliseev in the 74th minute of play. Yuriy Popovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Eliseev in the 76th minute of play. Yuriy Popovich came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC. Armavir's Boris Eliseev. But to his dismay, Boris Eliseev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Yuriy Popovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Eliseev in the 79th minute of play. After 85 played minutes FC. Armavir got a freekick which was hit by Danil Vlasov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Eliseev in the 87th minute of play forced Odinzovo FC's goalkeeper Yuriy Popovich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Danila Pavluhin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC. Armavir and the Odinzovo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes FC. Armavir got a freekick which was hit by Danila Pavluhin. Odinzovo FC's Yuriy Popovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Smeulders in the 93rd minute of play. Yuriy Popovich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Eliseev in the 95th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC. Armavir were victorious despite being under pressure from Odinzovo FC for much of the match.
