Valentin Yakovlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Ustinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Lesnoi gorodok's goal looked a bit too open when Pahom Vyazemskiy came free, but Valentin Yakovlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Малая Охта's Emmanuil Chvyrev got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Lesnoi gorodok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Yakovlev should have stopped the shot. Gennadiy Golubchenko scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Yakovlev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Golubchenko in the 33rd minute of play forced Lesnoi gorodok's goalkeeper Valentin Yakovlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Vadim Shamshurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Yakovlev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pahom Vyazemskiy in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Pahom Vyazemskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Valentin Yakovlev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Golubchenko in the 47th minute of the match. The Lesnoi gorodok players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Малая Охта were winning 0-5.

Lesnoi gorodok's Valentin Yakovlev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lesnoi gorodok from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Fedor Lytkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Малая Охта's Petr Ustinov fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. The crowd rose to their feet as Малая Охта's Pahom Vyazemskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Yakovlev. That made the score 0-9 after 81 minutes of play. Stepan Sitnikov's late challenge caught a Малая Охта's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stepan Sitnikov helped the player get up and apologised. Stepan Sitnikov hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Sam Bernardo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 86 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Valentin Yakovlev right hand side. Ilya Bianki might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Yakovlev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilya Bianki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Малая Охта's Srđa Miladinović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Малая Охта played a much better game than Lesnoi gorodok and deserved their victory. The Lesnoi gorodok players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
