ROTOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ural the free kick. Kapiton Agranovskiy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Andrey Izotov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fedor Devlecherov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Platon Dibich in the 15th minute of play forced ROTOR's goalkeeper Andrey Izotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladislav Bobrov during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vladislav Bobrov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Roman Larionov took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Levan Yashin. Levan Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Roman Larionov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Levan Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juninho Pernambucano in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Levan Yashin saved FC Ural from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Andrei Ivanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, Platon Dibich tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrey Izotov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felice Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Platon Dibich kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roman Larionov scored 2-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Levan Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felice Gianfrancesco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Levan Yashin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROTOR. Levan Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Larionov in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, ROTOR's Felice Gianfrancesco made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levan Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC Ural booed when ROTOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. ROTOR's Andrey Izotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Dibich in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juninho Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Laur Vabadus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROTOR and the FC Ural players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Oleg Rodionov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ural fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. In the 69th minute of the match, Juninho Pernambucano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Levan Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andrei Ivanov hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Vyacheslav Velikanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROTOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Vyacheslav Velikanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levan Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Andrei Ivanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ROTOR getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kapiton Agranovskiy hit a great ball. The throw-in from Vitaliy Bukovskiy in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ROTOR's Felice Gianfrancesco. Levan Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes of play, FC Ural's Oleg Rodionov made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrey Izotov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrey Izotov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Rodionov in the 92nd minute of play. Andrey Izotov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Platon Dibich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, ROTOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Gianfrancesco to maneuver through the defense. FC Ural were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ROTOR for a fine match.
